I specialise in painting portraits and figures in oil. I capture personality and poses to conjure up unwritten stories.Influenced by David Hockney and Alice Neel, I like to create a colourful picture of a human with thoughts and feelings.Several years after graduating from university, I returned to college to study Visual Arts at Perth College UHI where I received an NQ (National Qualification) and was awarded the class prize.After a considerable break, I am now working hard at building a portfolio of work to showcase my abilities.
